Our first experience here in Toowoomba. The steamed dumplings where pretty good and also the chicken noodle soup was flavoursome and the thigh meat was tender. The fungus salad also was yummy. All round impressed and the prices are reasonable. We cant wait to eat here again.
The food was absolutely delicious and a perfectly reasonable price. My brother and I shared the beef and leek fried dumplings and the fried bread with condensed milk, I also had the passionfruit juice. Everything was delicious as well as filling. There are very few restaurants in Toowoomba that I actively love but ot is safe to say this is my new favourite place to eat and I will be returning!
The absolute best noodles I've ever had! Soft, bouncy, slightly chewy and so tasty ๐ Ordered braised chicken noodle soup and the cold noodles with sesame peanut sauce. The beef itself wasn't to my taste, but I enjoyed the rest of my meal; the sauce tasted like straight up peanut butter! The chicken was incredibly delicious and melt in your mouth tender. I also really liked the broth, nice flavor and not at all watery. The portions are massive, the staff were lovely, and there was the option of inside or outside seating.
Had a fantastic meal that was pure comfort in a bowl. The Hot Spicy Beef Noodles were incredible, with a rich, fragrant broth that had just the right amount of kick. Paired them with the Beef and Leek Pan-Fried Dumplings, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It's just simply heartwarming food that really hits the spot. Amazing value for money, too. Highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal!
Iโve got a weakness for noodle soups โ pho, laksa, ramen โ but Toowoomba doesnโt quite have the stellar options youโd find in Inala or Sunnybank. So when this mob opened up, I had to give them a go. Heading in for a late Friday lunch, I was pleasantly surprised: no queue, no fuss. The menu leans heavily toward noodle soups (as it should), but there are dumplings and skewers if you want variety. You can choose noodle thickness, wet or dry style, and toppings. I went for the braised beef with the default garnishes, opting for wide noodles โ think banh pho wide, not the superโthick hor fun slabs. Service was polite, efficient, not overly chatty. The bowl arrived with leek, coriander, and a slick of chili oil as standard. The broth was dark and slightly cloudy โ more Saigonโstyle pho than clear consommรฉ โ but well balanced, not the salt bomb you sometimes get. The beef was tender, the noodles had a satisfying chew, though they did clump together and needed a bit of teasing apart. For around $17, the portion was generous and good value. Itโs not yet the equal of Brisbaneโs best, but for Toowoomba, itโs a welcome addition โ a proper bowl of noodles that scratches the itch.
