We had dinner at this Taiwanese joint in Hobart CBD on Boxing Day evening, so it was quite busy night. We ordered the beef noodle soup, and braised tendon + brisket with rice as main dishes. We also ordered basil fried chicken as side dish to share. All dishes are reasonably "authentic" 😉 Taiwanese dishes, but unfortunately they used short-cut ingredient like dry noodle for the beef noodle soup. The braised beef tendon and brisket was our favorite, while the noodle soup and the fried chicken were just average. The place is quite spacious, but tables are placed tightly. Ambience is reasonable for casual eatery. Customer service is reasonable considering the busy situation on the night, though our dishes came with long waiting time (> 30 min). You can pay with all credit cards and pay additional surcharge of up to 1.4% while there is no public holiday surcharge on Boxing Day 👍.

Was really glad we ate here on our last night in Hobart. Food was delicious, freshly made and served hot. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious as well as the fried noodles and stir fried vegetables. Service was not on the the quick side, but it was understandable as I only saw three people manning the store.which was full when we dined. Two in the kitchen and one at the front of the house. Price was ok, you get value for your money. The food was worth the wait. Definitely a must try if you are in the area...

After returning from my trip on Monday evening, I was looking for dinner and stumbled upon this Taiwanese restaurant with good reviews. Disappointingly, the food was average at best, reasonably priced. I tried the three-cup chicken, which was definitely not authentic. The white rice was also poorly cooked, way too dry.

We ate at this restaurant the last time we were in Hobart and decided to have dinner there again tonight during this time in town. As expected we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately they didn't have the Taiwanese sausages I was craving for. We ordered the beef brisket noodle soup, the deluxe combination soup, chicken and pork skewers. They were all good.

Great value. Good servings and most importantly delicious food. The beef brisket soup was great, beef is milky, flat noodle is perfect. The fried rice is delicious and the prawn is cooked perfectly and crunchy. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.
