This is such a gem Wonderful staff and so kind and helpful Vegetarian options clearly marked I need to know what else is all vegan because the salt and pepper tofu (vegan) was stunning! Perfectly fried (not oily) and so flavourful Big protion for good value and the seasoning on point Nice presentation Also their chilli sauce is stunning Love that there is soy sauce and vinegar to adjust taste Need to go back - this was a 10/10

We have just had an excellent Christmas Day Luncheon 2025 experience at DDDumplings in the heart of Manly, NSW. This restaurant took our booking very close to Christmas Day after a late cancellation by another venue. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the way they accommodated our group of 19 people. The food was delicious, and also provided some Gluten free dishes, with the option of BYO Champagne and Wine. As you can see from our photo(s), the back drop was very unique and added to the atmosphere and overall party mood. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant, especially if you are considering a group function for any occasion. Thank you so much for making our Christmas so memorable 💖

Great local find, the garlic chive, pork and prawn dumplings were so delicious. The cumin lamb roti was fantastic, the shredded pork was tasty (on the border of slightly too salty) but the salt and pepper king prawns were in quite a heavy batter without a lot of flavour, we ended up peeling off the batter and just ate the prawns without it. The restaurant is byo wine which is handy. We loved the being able to watch the lady in the kitchen hand make all the dumplings. Will definitely be back.

Dear Deer Dumpling offers authentic, high-quality Chinese food. The must-try item is the Deep-Fried Mini Buns (Mantou); they are a fantastic dessert, featuring a perfect golden-crisp exterior and fluffy center, best enjoyed with sweet condensed milk. Highly recommended!

Came here for lunch today and ordered the prawn dumplings and stir-fried beef. Both dishes were delicious and very authentic! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. Vivian? Im not sure, she’s very attentive and always had a I’ll definitely come back again!
