The first time was great during the soft-opening, but then when I was back the second time a few months later - everything changed. They put a huge amount of cabbages on the bottom of the pot to make the chicken look like a lot. The taste went downhill as well… we also found a piece of noodle in our pot - we didn’t order it so we suspected they recycled the food but we could be wrong. But will not go back again.

You know those places that just get it right? Nice Hotpot is definitely one of them. The food is incredibly flavorful, with a broth that's so rich you'll want to drink every last drop. The portions are also very generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. It's the perfect spot for a satisfying and delicious meal.

Not a lot of room to wiggle in the inside dining area was my first impression. Chose the most expensive type which has meat and prawns to share with 3 other friends. Prawns were decent but the pork was more bone than lean meat. Though you can suck on the cartilage. The prawns were fresh...and there were lots and lots of chicken pieces which were pretty bony as well. The dried chilli was overwhelming. The rice and veg were free flow is much needed to have a decent meal...but the flavour fatigue kicked in rather than feeling full. I mean if you want to experience a different sort of dining experience then yes. Why not..but for a solid feed...unfortunately this isn't it. Great place to catch up with friends because sharing food helps bring people together. Follow me on Instagram and Tiktok: punk_gardener for more food adventures.
