Dumpling Head

About
*came back and got photos and videos of my favourite prawn and pork dumplings joint in Chinatown, drenched in Chinese vinegar and fried chilli. Still delicious and fresh months later. _____ OG review: Size, taste and quality of ingredients of boiled prawn and pork dumplings as well as the spicy pork wontons met my expectations for northern style cuisine. The dumplings were juicy with chunks of prawns and lean pork mince, and flavours were well balanced. It was so tasty, we forgot to take photo

Will be back very soon to eat again and take photos for this review. One of the better hole in the wall dumpling shops in Chinatown. Well done! Suggestion: add steamed/boiled bakchoy or chinese broccoli to the menu. A small side of vegetables with dumplings would have been nice. NB. Dumpling head can be found in the new neon-lit Foodiverse building accessible via Sussex, Little Hay and main pedestrian Dixon Street. You can also ask to sit in the common area and bring their condiments tray there - chili oil, soy sauce and vinegar.
10/10 we had the xiao long bao, chicken and corn, and something with prawn in it but it was incredible. The soup in the bao was the best part. Fast and friendly service!
Lovely owner. Quick service. Amazing food. Best dumplings I’ve had in a while :) Air conditioned. Nice music. Happy family. Kids loved every bite and filling. Thank you we will be back next time we are in town.
These guys cook fresh and delicious dumplings... great prices too!
Dumplings are pretty good here so far, they clearly have done this before but the setup still needs work as they are newly opened and haven't quite smoothed out their service yet - really hated doing takeaway containers even while seated at a table and trying to work out how to manage sauce and I hope it was only temporary, for now it gets a pass because of the honeymoon factor. Service is reasonably friendly so far.
