I have been coming here since it opened, and love the place. The food is great, quality and authentic. But I feel they are loading up all the dishes with more greens vs meat. We donโt mind paying for a good meal, but its like ordering a bowl of herbs with some meat added. So value for money comes into the equation? The Chang Mi sausage is a bowl of Thai basil?
Delicious Thai food.. limited Menu but delicious menu. Was very busy on a school holiday Monday night but they organised it straight away.
Great food. So refreshing to find a thai restaurant with an interesting menu (no spring rolls, fish cakes or money bags). Sour pork belly was amazing. Duck salad and BBQ chicken with tamarind also great. Big servings and well priced. Will definitely go back sometime soon.
Ordered Fried Fish, Spicy Pork and Specialty Rice. The food is delicious and tasty, The fish is cooked well, the meat is separated from the bones and the sauce has enough spice to augment the saltiness of the fish. The spicy pork is quite spicy. Since i have a small tolerance to spices, i need water every time i take a bite. The rice is well balanced in flavor. The atmosphere is quite crowded during dinner time although there are some fans turned on but you cannot hear one another if you are talking. It is a bit popular restaurant in Cairns and i would love to go here again.
This is a casual, informal dining experience. Tables, chairs, and overall environment were basic, with no pretensions. The service was attentive as to ordering and delivering my food. After the plates were cleared away, nothing. By observing others, I determined it was expected the customer would go to the counter to pay. Spring rolls with duck were next level, light and tasty. Pad Thai with giant prawns came as a huge portion and was very good, though the tamarind sauce was a little sweet for my taste. I would for sure return for those spring rolls.
