The food was great. Our favourite was the pork belly. The lamb skewer, tofu, mushroom rice was good. The passionfruit mango drink was disgusting. I tried to eat one of the mangos and it was rotten wet towel taste... Oolong tea was nice

This spot offers a nice taste of Yunnan cuisine right here in Sydney. Since I have a trip planned to Yunnan soon, I was interested to see their modern take on the regional dishes. We tried quite a few things, and several dishes really stood out. My personal favorites were the Minced Pork with Tomatoes and Chillies, which had a deep, savoury flavor, and the Yunnanโ€™s Grandmaโ€™s Mashed Potatoesโ€”a dish that was surprisingly delicious and comforting. The Pea Jelly with Pork Belly, Stir Fry Beef with Sour Mango, and the Wok-seared Mushrooms were also highlights. The menu here seems to have grown considerably since I first visited in 2024. Just a heads-up: a lot of the dishes come with a good amount of chilli. Itโ€™s authentic and tasty, but if you're not big on spice, you might want to ask if the heat level can be adjusted. Iโ€™d certainly return to try more, especially the steamed egg dish, which I've heard good reviews about. As a bonus, the teas they serve are great. They're really fragrant and floral, and they keep their flavor well even when served cold. They actually sell the dried tea leaves (priced between $18โ€“$38), which would be a thoughtful small gift for someone who enjoys tea.

The dishes were way too oily and a bit too salty. Best part of the whole dinner was the exquisitely flavoured chilli oil in the entree. Had to sift through lots of thinly sliced, undercooked garlic to get to the bits of mushroom in the beef dish.

My first time trying Yunnan cuisine and I was pleasantly surprised! Everything we had was delicious. The fried rice itself wasnโ€™t the most flavourful, but paired with sides like braised eggplant and wagyu beef with kidney beans, it was a great balance. Love the interior and the presentation of the dishes. You have to try ther lychee wine too!

I absolutely love the flavours here!!! it literally mind blown me! the lava tofu 10/10 and the fried tofu balls! And it paired so well with the rose lychee wine! im usually not a wine drinker; but this drink was beyond my expectation! so refreshing and smooth! i love the jelly pieces in the drink too! Itโ€™s now one of my favourite alcoholic drink! So if you havenโ€™t had Yunnan cuisine, try it now!!!
