Food is great, place is elegant, and service is outstanding! Our lunch at the Fish Pot was a happy accident! While walking through Melbourne's vibrant Chinatown, we were amazed by the number of restaurants showing delicious looking dishes on the windows. Taking a cue from a quick Google Gemini search, we found ourselves here, and the experience was truly memorable. ​I opted for the Signature Fish Soup, and my wife chose the Beef Brisket. The soup was the star—a creamy, savory broth with a profound depth of flavor that felt perfectly calibrated. It wasn't heavy, just intensely satisfying. You could tell the ingredients were selected with precision; even something as simple as the taro stick tasted unbelievably good, honestly the best taro I've ever eaten. ​The meal was rounded out with some excellent dim sum. This place is a hidden gem—a delightful and amazing culinary surprise!

Absolutely loved this place! The tiger grouper fish soup hotpot was incredibly fresh, the broth was rich and flavourful, and the fish was so tender it almost melted. We also got the half-price wagyu oyster blade and it was such a steal! Buttery, soft, and perfect in the soup. Such a comforting, nourishing meal that still felt super satisfying. Will definitely be back!

Fishpot never disappoints! The signature tiger grouper soup base is unbelievably fresh and rich !! you can literally taste the depth of the fish broth. The lift-up hotpot design is super convenient, and everything from the seafood to the dipping sauces is top-notch. Easily my go-to place whenever I crave fish hotpot!

The fish soup is rich, comforting and full of flavor – we tried the tiger grouper and it was so tender it literally melted in the mouth. The dipping sauces are amazing (especially their house special mix) and the auto-lifting hotpot table is such a smart touch. Clean, cozy space with booths and private rooms, perfect for a date or a group dinner. They even have affordable lunch sets with noodles and dumplings – definitely coming back!

We were craving mala and this hit the spot. Just the nice with the level of spiciness that you can keep eating without the spice taking over. Its quite fancy for a hotpot place. I have never seen a pot self strain before. Quality of food was excellent. Be really to spend though.
