While Haidilao is no longer considered the king of hot pot in China due to numerous competition, they are still one of the best here. The ingredients are always fresh and very tasty. A meal in China averages at around $50 per head if you want to leave satisfied. The same applies to their Sydney store. Those small Chinese sausages (pun not intended...) are a must-have unless you cannot do pork. Typically a pot is divided into two sections. I recommend vacating two of them for just boiling water, it is cheaper and you have a spot to 'wash' or cook the food types that are better without spiciness.
It was great going out as a family. The hostesses were very accommodating and attentive. Food waa presented beautifully and tasted fresh. Highly recommend the wagyu slices and no more than 10s in the hot pot soup. The kids were entertained with lots of toys which allowed the adults to eat in "some" piece.
Our weekly dine out spot all thanks to the vibe and services! 99% of our visits we come across some amazing team members who will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience! Shout out to Johnny as he has always help us sort any questions we might have!
Always looking forward to Haidilao Chatswood. The great service from the time wait staff walk you into the dinning area. Wait staff carefully asked if we had been here before, if not he or she would explain how to order food, cooks food and get small dishes and sauce from the bar. The bar fee is per person, you can get as much as you like. It includes the sauce, the fruits, the small dishes and the desserts. It’s worth the per person fee. If you have young kids, you can ask them if the kids are cute, they will say yes and provide you with a kids toy. You can also waitlist for a free manicure!! When at billing they will provide you with more biscuits and mints to take home! Just unbeatable service!! I must also say, staff Sherry Liu has exceptional services towards kids.
Great service from the staff, especially Yuki who was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant can get quite busy and a bit hectic, but everything is well organized. I booked online in advance, so I didn’t have to wait long at all.
