Had the pork and celery dumplings and Xiao Long Baos and they are both delicious! Service is friendly and didnโt had to wait too long for the food to arrive. You can mix your own sauce at the self-help station, and thereโs a container of prawn crackers that you can help yourself. The free flow of prawn crackers is the highlight ๐ Will be happy to come by happy dumping again!
I've been here many times for the dumplings, which are excellent. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. Today we couldn't finish our meal, so I asked for a takeaway box. Waitress: That will be 50 cents for a small box, $1 for a large. Me: Thatโs quite expensive for a takeaway box. Waitress: Then you can choose not to buy it. Cool, if that is how you treat your regulars, don't expect them to return.
Dumplings absolutely on point - tender, thin exterior, plump juicy interior. Spice levels were great. Also really enjoyed the fried tofu which had a nice spice dust on it similar to Taiwanese fried chicken. Service was fantastic too. There was an issue with the online booking system but they were very apologetic (not actually their fault!) and did very well to accommodate our group.

REVIEW: โญ Would recommend: 1. Chicken and prawn dumplings & 2. Sichuan dan dan noodles ๐ Something about corn in dumplings hit different. You get this with the chicken and prawn flavours! The burst of sweetness is a great twist and adds some really nice colour. ๐งก We got another serving of the Sichuan dan dan noodles because the noodles were springy and the flavour payoff was great. Such an easy eat. I will say, the crispy tofu was smaller than I was hoping for. Also, although the recipe say M9 beef... it's minced up so not sure how much of the M9 you can appreciate. ๐ There isn't much service. They drop the dishes on your table when it's ready, but the food is ready FAST. ๐โโ๏ธ There is also a communal sauce area where you have your typical vinegar, soy sauce + chilli oil, garlic paste and sugar. You can add the ratio and ingredients to your liking. The free prawn crackers are a nice touch although quite oily. ๐ Would highly suggest making an account in order to make a reservation. Although making an account is inconvenient, I was happy to not stand in line. โ๏ธ๐
Lovely little dumpling. Very warm and inviting. Soft music playing in the background, not overly noisy with everyone talking. Order from table. Service super quick. Self serve dipping sauces. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonton soup is delightful, light with a lot of flavour and depth. Pork dumplings come with a beautiful crispy bottom skin, dumpling cooked to perfection. 10/10.
