Great choice for lunch as it's Near my office. Many choices for various meat and vegetables.
I just started a new job around the corner from Kood and have been eyeing it up since I went in for my interview. I lived in Korea for 7 years and any Korean restaurant that offers something besides BBQ and fried chicken always piques my interest. I finally went in for lunch yesterday. There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly and efficiently. The decor inside and the friendly woman running the place, despite framing and filling everyoneโs orders on her own, made me feel like I was a welcome guest in her house. I ordered the bibimbap with spicy pork and it was so good I wanted to cry. The pork was delicious, all the vegetables were prepared fantastically, and I always appreciate a fried rather than raw egg cracked over cold bibimbap. The portion size was good and left me feeling full and nourished without being heavy. The complimentary barley tea transported me back to lunch on the job in Seoul. I canโt wait to go back and try the other meats and the samgak kimbap thatโs usually in the window. This will definitely be my go to for the one day a week I let myself buy lunch. If youโre after simple, straightforward, everyday type Korean food made with high quality ingredients at a really good price point, this place is where itโs at.
A very unique and homely Korean hotbar food vendor. They also do rice onigiri and gimbap to takeaway. The dishes are mixed with fresh veggies and Korean hot sauce. I would recommend their chili pork and tofu. The chilled barley tea is a nice addtion to the meal.
I love the simple concept of Korean home cooking with a menu that changes daily. Pick the type of dish you want & choose from and amazing range of Korean dishes. This is a much needed change from the usual food in the area. A++
I often buy lunch and dinner from here and both my bf and myself love it !!! Their bibimbap makes you full and the price is super reasonable as well. And donโt forget to try their onigiri - really good! (Especially the tempura prawn one ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฏ). I have more photos but Iโll let you experience this amazing place yourself ๐ฅฐ
