We had an amazing dinner at Kushi!! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations, and each dish we ate was delicious. A place we’ll definitely return to - highly recommended!

Came here for lunch and had an amazing experience — the aburi sushi was outstanding and the ramen was rich, comforting, and full of flavour. Everything felt carefully prepared and beautifully balanced. On the way out, we noticed the chef starting to grill yakitori, which looked incredible, so we decided to come back later in the evening to try it. Absolutely worth it. The yakitori was perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of smoky flavour, finished simply with just the right seasoning. You can really see the care and skill that goes into the food here. Fantastic quality, great atmosphere, and a place that’s just as good for a casual lunch as it is for dinner. Will definitely be back.

Great food can't wait to be back again. The grilled sushi - tuna and salmon is quite fresh and is highly recommended to order. Full restaurant on a Sunday evening. Highly recommended to book.

Just had dinner at Kushi Japanese and it was absolutely lovely. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The staff were warm, attentive and made the whole experience really enjoyable. The menu has a great selection of classic Japanese dishes and everything we tried was top quality. The restaurant has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and it’s the perfect spot for a casual meal in Manly. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food and service were good overall, but I was a bit disappointed that rice bowls and ramen weren’t available during dinner. The skewers and gyosa were tasty, though my favourites were definitely the sashimi, arancini, and karaage. Service was decent, but they did forget our water, I asked for water for the table (2 people), but the waitstaff only brought one. 😆
