A very enjoyable experience. The house-made bayberry drink is delicious — perfectly sweet and sour, and very refreshing. The skewers are made with fresh meat and taste great. The grilled beef brisket is fragrant, and the Wagyu skewers are extremely tender. The lamb chops, chicken gizzards, oysters, scallops, and grilled eggplant are all delicious and definitely worth trying.

We had a great meal at Lu Zhong Huo. The skewers were delicious and had that great charcoal flavour. But the highlight was the service—the auntie who served us was so friendly and welcoming! She really looked after us and made the whole experience feel very warm and homely. It’s rare to get such nice service at a busy BBQ spot. Highly recommend!

Had a great time eating out at Lu Zhong. We definitely splurged on the wide range of tasty skewers, spicy crayfish takes and loved the friendly service, the lady was all smiles. She also offered us a lovely tasty plum and flowers soft drinks, very refreshing

Nice place for some skewers. Pricing pretty standard, but at least the skewers came out decently hot and well seasoned. Also has extra seasoning on the table if needed, which some other places do not offer. Their fried rice is quite authentic. Service was good except they did not give us any water and even when asked they forgot and did not bring water during the entire meal. Atmosphere 4/5 only because the floor was dirty and could use a quick sweep.

Excellent Chinese BBQ skewers. We absolutely loved it. They have a good range of skewers, different types of meats. We loved the wagyu beef ribs the most, everything else was amazing. It’s cooked for you and then put on a candle lit hot plate to it will be kept warm. The owner would bring them out to you and explain how to eat it . Very very good and definitely would go back.
