Visited in Nov 2025 Dropped by this noodle place for dinner during one of the nights I was in MEL during my recent trip to the city. My friends and I ordered our noodle soup dishes based on our respective preferences. You can choose the type of noodle you want (thick, thin, wide, etc.) in your soup. You can also order a dry noodle dish if that’s your liking. Overall, a nice noodle bar worth a visit if you’re in the area.

After trying a few popular Lanzhou Noodles Bar in Sydney, I decided to compare them with one Melbourne and decided to give this a try. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth had plenty of flavours. The meat also had a nice thickness and texture. The lamb skewers though, did not have enough fat and was slightly overcooked. The food came out quickly and staff were attentive. The tables were relatively clean and good for a casual meal or a late dinner whilst you are in Melbourne CBD.

Tried the food here today, I've always been a fan of Chinese cuisine and saw lots of positive reviews, so I thought I’d give it a go. The beef noodle soup was really tasty, good portion size, and came out super quickly. But the service experience was quite frustrating. I had an issue with my card, so I offered to pay cash, only to be told they had no change. I had to go back into my bank app, sort things out, and eventually paid by card, which added a 15% surcharge. Then when I wanted to buy a drink, I was told I had to pay for it separately, meaning another surcharge! Why couldn’t they just combine it into one transaction? The ordering process is also confusing. Too many options (noodle types, sizes, etc.) and you have to order at the counter, even though the staff’s English wasn’t very clear. During busy hours, this setup causes long queues. A QR code ordering system would make things much easier, like many other restaurants already use. The food quality is great, no doubt, but the service and ordering system need serious improvement. Hope I can give you 5 stars next time.

This place is a hidden gem right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD! They serve amazing Chinese noodles in delicious, flavorful soup. I also tried some sides, the deep fried buns were absolutely tasty, and the cold mixed vegetables were the perfect palate cleanser. What I love most is their upstairs seating, spacious and comfortable, so you don’t feel cramped like in other places. It’s my go to spot, highly recommended!

I visited this restaurant on Friday night (July 4th), and it was such a great experience! 🥰 The food portions were generous, delicious, and absolutely perfect for the cold weather 🥶. I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants in Melbourne, but I have to say I was really impressed by the service here. While I was waiting in line for one staff member, another team member noticed me and kindly came over to help—even though I wasn’t showing any urgency. Their attentiveness and service mindset really stood out! 🙏 The music also added such a fun vibe—my friend loved it and kept talking about how much she enjoyed it. The food, the friendly staff, and the lively atmosphere all came together to make our night perfect. And best of all, the prices were very reasonable! Highly recommend giving this place a try! 🫶🏻💖
