Great hotpot spot!! The interior is so cool and really felt like I was back im China The broths were super flavouful and the spicy one really packed a punch. First time I thought it was spicy enough 🤣 Premium cuts of meat and all the best hotpot ingredients like fish roe balls, mashed shrimp and more. Full review at @obesi.chi on Insta 😊
a very stylish hotpot place! I had an awesome experience. The ingredients were fresh, the broth was full of flavour, and everything came out quickly. The variety of meats, seafood, and veggies made it easy to customise the perfect hotpot, and the sauce station had plenty of options to mix things up. Great value for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely a go‑to spot if you’re craving a satisfying hotpot meal in Burwood. I’ll be back for sure.
This hot pot spot is so good, especially the golden chicken soup — super flavourful and tasty. The toppings are fresh, and the vibe is really interesting with cool décor that makes you feel like you’re in China. The staff are friendly too. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but for Burwood and the quality of the food, there’s really nothing to complain about.
The space is stylish with old-school classic designs, and the menu has a great mix of classic and trendy Chinese hotpot options. We chose the two-flavoured soup base with spicy and golden chicken broth — both were rich and flavourful. You can adjust the spice level, which is great — I picked level 0.5 and it was already quite spicy, so definitely go easy if you’re not used to heat! We started with the Lucky Basket Lamb Roll and their signature mashed shrimp, both very fresh. Also tried some braised items like beef tendon and honeycomb tripe, which went really well with the spicy broth. The tofu with preserved egg was full of authentic flavour, and for dessert, the milk crunch was a nice surprise — crispy on the outside and soft inside. Overall, good quality ingredients, lots of variety, and a fun place for hotpot lovers.
