The beef pho is nice, I love the soup. However, the chicken laksa is terrible, as the chicken is really really tough and tender, the chicken seems just using hot water to boil and put it in the noodles, it also tastes a bit weird (I donโt know how to describe, really taste of frozen chicken โฆ. )The laksa soup is quite good ( creamy and not really spicy), but I am disappointed as it costs 21 dollarsโฆ
the roast pork bahn mi here is tasty and filling and decently priced at around 10.95! if you ever need to go to services tasmania, this is a great place to get lunch after you renew your license or something. its both nice and a shame that good bahn mi needs you to go out of your way from the centre of town just to get it. on one hand, its a bit of a walk, but on the other hand, its more quiet than if they were closer to brisbane st.
Had this on 5th May 2025 evening. Service was quick and efficient and friendly. They had a lot of offerings and good clean seats and environment. Loved the Vietnamโs rice rolls and had one with prawn and char siew and one with chicken. The one with prawn tastes better. Both are $4. Also had the beef pho and wanton noodles. Both tastes great in this cold weather. A tad salty but still tasted pretty authentic to me. Beef slices were generous. There were 5 wantons for the noodle and quite a few pieces of pork in them too. Overall, would recommend.
The restaurant doesnโt look very imposing at first but then you have a meal and realize what a powerhouse this one is. The food quality is Grade A+. Authentic flavors, clean spices, ample quantity and super duper tasty. We had a Pho, some noodles and a cold Vietnamese coffee. Totally glad we landed up here.
Visited this place during our trip to Tasmania. Food was delicious, true definition of home-made Vietnamese cuisine. Customer service was great, kind owners. -Stergos
