This was our first visit to Paper Tiger since they reopened and a belated anniversary lunch. We had lunch on a Sunday. The service was fast and engaging. The manager provided us with suggestions on both food and wine. We had 3 entrees. The lamb short ribs, chicken wings and beef tartar and all 3 were full of flavor definately worth returning to have again. For main We had the bao buns and the char rice rolls. Again flavoursome and good size portion. We left full, happy and looking forward to our next visit. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful lunch.

Great decor and service. The nyonya chicken curry and the lemongrass fish were standouts - delicious! Laksa Dumplings and deconstructed pork belly baos were okay (the bao bun wasn’t the best). Nice ice cream sandwich dessert.

Went for a family dinner for five. The standout of the evening was the DIY Crispy Pork Belly Bao. We absolutely loved it. The pork belly was cooked perfectly wonderfully crisp. Served with soft, fluffy bao buns and great condiments. The Nyonya Chicken Curry accompanied by soft roti was good, the Fried Rice was perfect. The Kombu Cured Sashimi was fresh, Dry Aged Duck Breast was a highlight. The dry-aging process gave the duck a deep, savory flavor.

This restaurant has set the bar incredibly high for dining in Adelaide. The food was simply divine—every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It’s hands down the best meal we’ve had in Adelaide so far! The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. The staff made us feel so welcome and took care of every detail. The ambiance is perfect, with a warm and inviting vibe that enhances the whole experience. Whether you’re looking for a special occasion spot or just a phenomenal meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Paper Tiger came as a recommendation and it did not disappoint. Luckily our group of 7 happened to time our impromptu visit well and we were able to fit onto the one remaining table. None of the group had dined at Paper Tiger before. We opted for the ‘feed me’ and our request that dessert be replaced with the beef tartare was kindly accommodated. Every single dish was a stand out: perfectly cooked, balanced and seasoned and with well-considered flavour profiles. With every first bite came exclamations of deliciousness and enjoyment and how we all must definitely come again. The shellfish were plump and delicate, the meats melt in the mouth. The chicken wings out of this world crispy, yet tender. Every bite was a symphony. Our courses of our meal were served at the perfect pace. Our servers were attentive, but not intrusive. We will all be back and be recommending Paper Tiger to all our friends.
