This place is the best Korean BBQ Ive had in Sydney. They cook the meat for us, which makes it really convenient and enjoyable. All the staff were so so so friendly and it was such a great experience!!!!!!!! Definitely 100% would come back!!!
Love this restaurant, they cook the meat for you and make it a really fun experience. The BBQ set menu is worth it because you get a steamed egg each! I have come here a few times and it doesnโt disappoint!
We came to Stoneage Korean BBQ in Hurstville to celebrate a friendโs birthday, and overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience. The restaurant had a lively and warm atmosphere, perfect for gatherings with friends and family. The interior was clean and modern, with efficient smoke ventilation systems above each table, which made the dining experience comfortable even during peak grilling. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Every cut of meat we ordered from the marinated beef to the pork belly was high quality, well-seasoned, and tender. The side dishes (banchan) were generous and flavorful, and we especially loved the dipping sauces that paired wonderfully with the grilled meat. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff made a good effort to help us enjoy the celebration. Although the restaurant was very busy that evening, the servers remained polite and accommodating. However, because of the crowd, there were times when we had to remind the staff more than once about an item we requested. It wasnโt a major issue, but itโs something to keep in mind if youโre dining during peak hours. That said, the overall service was still warm and helpful, and we appreciated the staffโs hard work. We could tell they were doing their best to manage the volume while keeping guests happy. Despite the minor delays, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a great time. We left feeling satisfied, and weโre already talking about coming back for another round of delicious Korean BBQ. Itโs a fantastic spot for meat lovers and group celebrations. Highly recommend giving Stoneage a try, just be a little patient if itโs a busy night. The food is worth it.
An absolute gem of a Korean BBQ and I have been to a few. Firstly, seeing the charcoal in the burners brought joy to my eyes. The self ordering pad at the table makes it convenient. We ordered the Premium Wagyu set ($125) and the cuts of meat were top notch. You get a generous selection of Kim Chi that were excellent in quality and given 90 minutes sitting time which was ample. Service was surprisingly good from every single staff member and credit to management. A new local favorite!!
