Missed the sunset because of how slow the service was here! Took way too long to order and the manager’s attitude could be better. That said, the noodles were delicious—definitely go for the thick ones, they are super ripper and chewy. I’ll give them another go, but hopefully it’s a lot snappier next time.

Sometimes there's a 10% service charge, but you still have to order and pay at the counter yourself. We ordered two bowls, one of which clearly had more noodles than mine. The restaurant didn't initially consider it an employee mistake; the boss even thought it was the customer's fault because the photo showed the noodles were finished but the soup was still there, so they didn't understand my intention. Shouldn't I have drunk the soup if there weren't enough noodles? The restaurant replied that no one said there weren't enough noodles, but there's a price list for an extra $3 for refills, which is completely contradictory.

Shout out to my bf’s favourite place. They have one of the best chinese beef noodles with reasonable price. - pickled beef noodles: 9.5/10. Our go-to dish whenever we visit the store. A little spice and sourness kicking in really excites the experience - stewed beef noodles: 8/10. Meaty and tastes better compared to the previous time - lamb skewers: 10/10. Juicy and tender meat, seasoned with a bit of cumin powder. Have to say it sells the amazing lamb skewers, absolutely perfect to my linking. Not spicy at all - lychee pork: 1000/10 😍. I love thisssssss so much! Sweet and sour I would say. Yummmm - pork trotter skewers: 7/10. flavourless and nothing special when eating alone. Tried dipping in my home-made sweet and sour fish sauce and it was a whole other level, much better

Great place for authentic Lanzhou dishes. Place was spacious and staff were very friendly. Ordered their chef's special duck blood curd. It was spicy, numbing soup with different types of offal. Really love the congealed blood as it soaked all the spicy and numbness of the soup.

We love authentic Chinese cuisine and this was our first visit to Taste of Lanzhou. The staff were terrific and helpful, the food was very tasty ( as good as we have had) and the serving size very fair. We thought pricing was competitive and the meals were served up quite quickly. We'll definitely be back.
