We recently visited The Bridge House in North Fremantle. The atmosphere was great, lovely interior design, warm and cozy, and I absolutely loved the fireplace. It adds such a romantic touch and makes the place feel very special. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. We wanted to order oysters, but they had already run out. The lamb shoulder was very dry, and the layered dark chocolate dessert was too heavy and hard, we couldn’t eat it. We also waited quite a long time between courses, which made the evening drag on a bit. The setting itself is beautiful, but overall the experience wasn’t what we hoped for. I really hope others have a better visit than we did because it’s such a lovely venue with great potential.

Quite simply one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Every dish was prepared with such care, and the balance of flavors was exceptional each plate seemed to outshine the last. The scallops were a real standout: the sweet-tangy seasoning paired with their delicate, bouncy texture was an unexpected combination that worked brilliantly. The prawns were another highlight, perfectly charred with spices that were complex yet beautifully balanced. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an amazing night from start to finish. I’ll be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and I can’t wait to come back again.

Absolutely loved this place where classic dishes were reinvented to make it both tasty and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were all incredibly friendly making our meal pleasant and enjoyable. The chicken liver pate was absolutely delicious as it was both fresh and creamy. Most other restaurants’ pate usually taste very bitter but this was not the case here which was amazing. The lamb shoulder was also incredibly tender and flavourful. Overall, all the dishes we tried including the bread was out of this world!

Came here after being recommended by a friend of mine. It’s a very nice place! However parking can be an absolute mission on a Friday or Saturday night. We were a group of 6 and opted to choose a few things from menu to share. We ordered a dozen oysters (not realizing that they didn’t have a price for a dozen & it remained at $8 each) chicken liver pate, focaccia, olives, stracciatella, roasted cauliflower flower, wagyu picanha, 1.5kg lamb shoulder, sugar loaf, mash potato & for dessert crème brûlée & sticky date. The food overall was about a 7 out of 10. I think from the reviews and the price we expected the food to be a bit better than what was delivered. The chicken liver pate was not that good! Have had a fair few pate but none that tasted super acidic like the one we were given. Happy we got to come here and try the food! Will have to come back if/when the menu changes for the summer months.

The Bridge House is exceptional - a true standout in every sense. Let’s begin with the atmosphere. If you’re dining in the evening as we did, expect romantic dim lighting, a glowing wood fireplace, and moody table lighting that sets an inviting, intimate tone from the moment you walk in. The service is equally impressive. The team strike the perfect balance of warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly service. It’s done without ever feeling like it’s too much. It’s hospitality done right. And now… the food. Quite simply, some of the best flavours and quality we’ve experienced all year. Every dish was faultless. It was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. The winter menu is perfectly tailored to the season, offering comforting yet refined options ideal for the cooler months. The Bridge House has firmly earned its place in our top three dining experiences this year. An absolute gem and nothing short of perfection.
