Food was decently priced but the service was shockingly two faced. Very very nice when you order the food, but the moment you spend your time there slightly longer to relax, they will start to drop their service. Today I was there to grab an earlier lunch and work slightly for 30 mins before heading to my next meeting. It was quiet and I realised that I will leave just before the lunch rush to clear some space. 10 mins later the owner walks over to my table and grabs my still eating food away from me and gives me the stare. I said thank you, but she ignores me. I didn't think much of it and continued to work. In the backgroud I can hear them speaking Cantonese amongst themselves (yes I am fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin) and they start mumbling "get rid of him he has been here for too long. You go and kick him out. Does he speak English or Chinese. Hurry up and get him out" Honestly at this point I was very disappointed and it made me feel discouraged to hear them speaking in Cantonese. Please keep in mind there was only one other table being used so it was not busy. I packed up my work stuff and left the venue and said thank you have a nice day. To which they responded in Cantonese amongst themselves "finally that weird one is gone, we didn't have to do anything" As a Chinese person myself I am very disappointed in the owners of Top Choi Chinese Cuisine. The food is decent but service is outright two faced. Just be cautious if you are dining in for too long more than 15-20 mintues

Delicious & affordable Friendly service Very tasty And I’m always so impressed with how noticeably clean the kitchen, service area and restaurant is. They obviously take great care in their business, food preparation and service.

I was the one that created this account in Google maps! 🥰 First of all, I have been to this restaurant a few times! In the heart of Surry Hills. The service wasn’t so friendly but maybe because I am not a repeating customer! I noticed they were overly servicing the other customers which must of been their loyal customers! I have been here maybe 5 times already but haven’t had any special treatment from them LOL all customers should be treated the same way! So customer service wise, needs a little attention, maybe try and be more friendlier to your new customers. It will help a lot with the business. The dishes were amazing though !! I tried the wonton noodle soup, the seafood noodle soup & the Laksa! All did not disappoint me! The service was super quick!
