Best vegan bahn mi I’ve ever had! The tofu is very “meaty” and well seasoned. The serving is large. The bread was perfectly crunchy. Almost a bit too spicy for me, but it was a nice kick. The venue is small but there are seats and tables. Kind staff. Will be coming back without a doubt!

Great atmosphere and amazing staff, really nice service but I had better food. I ordered the Singapore noodles with prawns it was slightly over cooked and they had very small prawns that looked like prawns was too small and no taste to it, staff is amazing with beautiful smile but the food wasnt the best

This place is a hidden gem and it needs to be packed all the time! Came here for a Vietnamese coffee which absolutely hit the spot, and loved the vibe so much that I came back for dinner with a friend. Both the grilled chicken and the bun cha were fantastic but the star for me was definitely the seafood spring rolls! Crispy, piping hot and so delicious that I had to order an extra takeaway order Prisca the manager (along with all the staff) were absolute gems and can't wait to travel here again all the way from the south just for the food 🫶

Accommodated us last minute on a very busy night. I chose the pho and asked for it without onion which made it a bit tasteless if I’m honest. (My onion allergy is usually only if I eat it raw…. I should’ve gotten them to leave it in and then I fished it out at the table. My fault…..). Spring rolls were yum. Staff were super busy but still had the time to come and answer questions at the table and hold the door for us on the way out. Thank you. The only thing was the sound of the room. So so loud. You need a few soft panels in the room to absorb the sound. We could barely hear each other.

I had a wonderful experience at Viet Rose in Fitzroy — this place is such a gem for fresh, flavourful Vietnamese food. I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and the vermicelli vegetarian bowl, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. plenty of seating inside. The spring rolls were golden, crisp, and packed with flavour — not oily at all, and served with a light dipping sauce that complemented them perfectly. The vermicelli bowl was a standout: fresh salad, soft vermicelli noodles, crunchy peanuts, all topped with a light, fragrant dressing. It was incredibly satisfying and felt nourishing without being heavy. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to flavour. The restaurant has a cozy, no-fuss vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s casual, welcoming, and perfect whether you're dining solo, with friends, or just stopping in for a quick bite. The service was lovely — friendly, efficient, and happy to accommodate vegetarian options without any fuss. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the menu has a great range of both meat and vegetarian options. It’s a perfect go-to spot if you’re in the Fitzroy area and craving something fresh, vibrant, and comforting.
