We booked Welcome to Brunswick's brewery space for a 50th birthday of around 80 guests. Everything was superbly organised by Diana, who gave excellent advice on menu selections and general vibes. The venue managers on the day (Josie and Sebastian) made sure everything ran smoothly, with thoughtful touches such as helping us getting our older guests through the staff entrance owing to the gate to the back being broken, and making sure that the photo booth we'd included turned up (pro tip - definitely include the photo booth, but do warn friends that you will receive the digital versions...) Overall, the event went exactly as we wanted in every way. Our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the venue, with lots of compliments about the food. A perfect example of event management was when Josie told me she thought people had 'food fatigue' and recommended we pause serving for 30 or so minutes - and she was exactly right. A perfect spot for a celebration.

Had our EOY Party at Welcome to Brunswick and it was amazing! Right from the planning stage; Diana made everything so easy and straightforward. On the day, everything went really smoothly and Josie was very on top of things and super helpful. She was able to read the room really well and planned food coming out to meet our needs and around our formalities of the afternoon. She was really easy going and happy to accommodate anything we needed. Would highly recommend WTB for any large events!

We celebrated my 50th birthday and my sons 18th birthday at Welcome to Brunswick and all I can say is that it was simply fantastic! The food, atmosphere and staff were so good and my guests had a great night and all complimented us on the choice of venue. The amount of food that circulated was amazing and no one went home hungry. Everything from slide shows to music to microphone set up was so easy and just ran so smoothly. Right from my first inquiry Diana was amazing and made the process so easy and smooth. We would 1000% recommend Welcome to Brunswick to anyone who was thinking of having a function in one of their functions spaces.

Great venue in the centre of Brunswick. There’s always something going on between burger and chilli eating contests to record fairs. Lots of community focus. Always the best selection of local beers and great food trucks to pick from.

I visited Welcome to Brunswick with friends in April 2025 and absolutely loved the venue. It’s a gorgeous open air space with heaps of seating, surrounded by food trucks and buzzing with energy. Toward the back, there’s a spacious indoor bar, function area, and toilets, perfect if you’re hosting a bigger event. The outdoor area also had heaters throughout, which made it super comfortable even as the evening cooled down. We were there for a friend’s farewell with a group of about 30 people, and there was more than enough room to spread out. The food truck options were great, we went with Mr Burger and shared some chips around the table. My girlfriend tried the alcoholic watermelon slushie and loved it so much she went back for seconds… and thirds! I had a really refreshing lemon lime bitters, and the beers got a solid thumbs up from everyone at our table. It’s a perfect casual spot to catch up with friends in Brunswick. The Saturday night atmosphere was lively with lots of families, groups, and a few events happening around us. The space has a great vibe, it’s well set up, and there’s plenty to eat and drink. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
