Wow! The most delicious Thai cuisine I have had with attentive and knowledgeable service. Great city centre location. Traditional dishes. A bit pricey but worth every cent. First story location but no access for the disabled or people with walking difficulties as narrow staircase from front door to first floor is only entry. Recommend booking ahead as very popular.

Inital vibe of the place was lovely and so was the decor. However, the food was disappointing and not as flavourful as hoped with the high prices. The pad thai wasn't spicy, tasted bland and had no garnish (peanuts, chilli flakes, etc). I was expecting the green curry to be fragrant as described on the menu but it was so spicy and lacking in flavour. We ordered two drinks but they never arrived, ended up at another table. Medicore meal and service.

We've been here many times now & generally it's ok. Tonight we just felt very underwhelmed, especially for the price. The appetisers & mains both were a bit bland. The food needs seasoning & just generally more attention to flavour. The service is ok. There's no real enthusiasm but they do the job. The atmosphere isn't bad but certainly nothing particularly good either. If you are going to charge 40+ for mains & generally high prices you need to provide better quality food & service. There's gotta be something more. Just not getting the value in this instance but I'd possibly be prepared to give them another try. The mango sticky rice dessert however is very very good! Delicious

Amazing food and service from Wild Rice once more. Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff do a wonderful job - especially given how busy the place always is. You simply can not beat the pineapple fried rice - it’s a firm favourite!

What an absolutely delicious menu. We had the garlic prawns, basil stir fry and the chicken pad see ew. All 3 meals were incredible. The atmosphere was busy and vibrant and the service was wonderful. Definitely a place to eat if you love Thai and are visiting Townsville
