Had a really satisfying Korean meal at Yumko in Canberra. As an international student who’s quite picky about Asian food, this place honestly hits the spot. The beef rice set was generous in portion, the beef was tender and well-seasoned, and it went perfectly with the rice. The spicy tofu soup was rich and comforting, spicy but not overwhelming, and served piping hot — exactly what you want, especially on a colder day. The side dishes were fresh and authentic, especially the kimchi. Service was quick, and the place felt clean and comfortable. Definitely one of those spots I’d come back to when craving proper Korean food in Canberra. Highly recommended.

I’m always happy to eat here! The food is consistently fresh, and I especially love the super spicy Volcano Chicken, it’s packed with flavor and heat, just the way I like it. I often come after work around 2 PM, even though they close at 2:30, and they still take the time to make fresh food for me without rushing. Really appreciate their hospitality and quality ,definitely one of my go-to spots for Korean cuisine. I tried cold noodle, owow I loved it Highly recommended

Tried Yumko today and really enjoyed the food. The fried chicken was super crispy with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce, very tasty! The jajangmyeon was also great, with chewy noodles and a rich, flavorful black bean sauce.

Had dinner tonight and absolutely loved it! The food was authentic and full of flavor. The side dishes were fresh and constantly refilled, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy, with Korean music playing softly in the background, making it a really pleasant dining experience. Definitely one of the best Korean spots in Canberra — can’t wait to come back!

Tried a couple of new dishes today and they were surprisingly good. The beef noodle had a nice smoky flavor with generous bulgogi topping, and the noodles were tasty. The stir-fried chicken wasn’t too sweet, and the perilla leaf and powder added a great touch. Portions and price were both satisfying. Staff were very friendly as always(Thank you again) though the music was a bit loud for my taste.
